FIGS...

Part one.

Jeremiah 24:
1
¶ The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

¶ Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Matthew 21:
18
¶ Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

The fig tree is symbolic of Sanhedrin's religious governing. Later, that same day, Jesus mentioned the parable of the fig tree in answering His disciples' questions concerning the end.

¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

So we have "...the prince" of Daniel 9:26 being the son of perdition, mentioned by Jesus

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

In other words...

26 ...and the people of the [other] prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. 27 And he will enter into a binding and irrevocable covenant with the many for one week (seven years), but in the middle of the week he will stop the sacrifice and grain offering [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until the complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who causes the horror.”

- 1897 Theodor Herzl published the Jewish State. Many scholars and most Zionist Jews, have pointed to this publication as the conception of modern Israel.

- 1917 Balfour Declaration (link below), followed by General Allenby's defeat of Turkish forces at Jerusalem, is considered to be not only the birth of modern Israel, but is mentioned by Jonathan Cahn as a prophetic Jubilee year.

(please note the fifty year increments)

Fifty years from Theodor Herzl's "Jewish State" to the beginning of Israel's war for Independence in 1947.

And fifty years from the Balfour Declaration and liberation of Jerusalem by Allenby 1917, to Israel's six day war that regained Jerusalem for them in 1967. Jonathan Cahn also considers 1967 to be a prophetic Jubilee year.

A Jubilee year comes every fifty years. The obvious speculation for Cahn (and me) is, will 2017 be the "prophetic" Jubilee year that sees...
Amplified ~ " a binding and irrevocable covenant with the many for one week (seven years), " That will allow for the third and final man made temple to be rebuilt.??

According to Cahn the exact year for the Jubilee year is unknown but he indicates these Jubilee years as "prophetic Jubilee years", which seem to align with what has transpired. With the time limit for a maximum measure of the likely "conception (1897)" then "birth" of what would become modern day Israel in 1917, and... considering what has happened since it's "birth", any person would be hard pressed to find anything that aligns closer to Matthew 24 than the last 120 years.

**While it remains absolutely true that "...no man knows the day or the hour that the Lord comes." It also remains just as true that the, "being taken" time frame, is exactly what Jesus was referencing when saying, "no man knows the day or hour".

When it comes to His setting His feet on this planet, that can be timed to exactly to 3 1/2 years from the abomination of desolation (the son of perdition) standing in the Holy place proclaiming himself to be god. (Matthew 24:15 & 2nd Thessalonians 2:3)

Chuck Missler has clearly stated that the great tribulation is strictly the last half of the seven year contract, or, "strong covenant with many for seven years", and I tend to agree. In any case from the moment that the son of perdition establishes himself as the abomination of desolation, it will be EXACTLY three and one half years to the moment when Jesus sets foot on this planet again.

In regard to the rapture we will meet him in the air.at some point either pre, mid, or end of the tribulation. And again referencing Missler, that exactly reflects the description "no man knows the day or hour."

That is exactly the technical nature and aspect of it.

Now, we get into some speculation. Many scholars cite these following scriptures as foundational to 'our' (for I share their speculations), theories.

2 Thessalonians 2 ~ Amplified Bible 
6 And you know what restrains him now [from being revealed]; it is so that he will be revealed at his own [appointed] time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way.

Nearly all scholars agree that He who restrains, refers to the Holy Spirit, with a few of them stating that it is only the Holy Spirit in general... and, the majority stating that it refers to the Holy Spirit within His betrothed as well as in general. With a little less emphasis on the, "in general". Thus indicating, there will be some "Holy Spirit Presence" remaining for the EMPOWERMENT, of the martyrs.

4 After this I looked, and behold, [a]a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a [war] trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.”

1 Corinthians 15:

**Most scholars refer to these last verses as being a record of the SAME event, while also mentioning the Rev 3:10 verse... "...I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

Where this tends to get a little cloudy is in the differences of opinion, over the timing of "the day or the hour". Or, the... "Pre trib, Mid trib or end of trib" debate.

I personally like that - whatever year it would happen, that it would happen during the feast of trumpets. Mostly because of Rosh Hashanah... "no man knows the day or hour" when it begins, in every sense of the Torah. But that is only my preference and I still do not know the day or hour of it. And also because, it is the feast of trumpets and the in gathering or harvest.

But when it comes to the physical return: It will be EXACTLY 3 1/2 years, to the minute after the son of perdition standing in the Holy place proclaiming himself to be god. So, in reality a person could set the "Atomic Clock" by it.

Double Down

You know what?

I have just doubled down so to speak.   I have just no more patience with certain social mores that fly straight out of the mouth of satan. And in this particular case it is the old adage, "Never talk politics or religion".  

I don't care how that is said, how flowery, warm and fuzzy... it is intended by "the enemy" to stifle your spiritual growth. It is a divisive stronghold, that keeps us from being able to trust one another, or at least extend respect... especially now. These last days, there is a strong delusion, and if you don't mark who you are in Christ publicly and strongly at times you may be lost. If the thought of that frightens you, even a little then you may be saved. Declare and let no mistake, you will know "when" that Moed happens, you will know, "Share the good news." In that still small inner Voice. HIS voice. 

It is "double down" time. SPEAK to one another, even in writing for EVERYONE to see! Declare at every "opportunity"  how magnificent, is the counsel GOD. Yes you may whisper it as well, but declare!

He alone is worthy of glory. HE Alone Is the FATHER, Son, and Holy Spirit.  

And talk politics with everyone libertarian, conservative and liberal, atheist and believer, fellow citizens. Romans 13, and our Constitution, says that the People are the rulers of this country. We have a God given responsibility to set this country 'back' onto our Constitutional Protections.  This Country was Constitutionally founded on GOD; guts and guns then evil men's generations commandeered its course. 

We must talk to one another and be willing, even expectant of fair play. God will guide you... you may trust Him.

I could almost stop at the title if I were channeling Dennis Miller, but he is still alive, and I don’t believe in “channeling”. So then, what am I getting at?

Well here it is and I will try and keep it short for the followers on FB that look for excuses not to read my stuff. If you were to click on the link at the bottom, that action would take you to a short video wherein one of Obama’s U.S. attorneys addresses a crowd in Tennessee. At the “meeting” he basically informs them that it will be considered a punishable hate crime aggression to speak out or publish in anyway, anything that advocates acts of violence (or physical resistance?), with Islam cannot be considered as part of our first amendment rights.

This is perhaps not the epitome of the progressive’s “power to the utopian warm & fluffy”, but it has to start somewhere right? I mean we have to start somewhere if we are going to arrive at the goal of John Lennon’s “Imagine” or, “Give Peace a Chance”, don’t we?

Talk about a conspiracy THEORY...

From Marx & Engels, Communist Manifesto, to the ongoing, long lived depravation in Cuba. From the heady days of the Bolshevik Revolution, to the purges of Stalin. From Plato’s Republic, to Sir Thomas More’s Utopia, to Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek… humankind has “imagined” for himself a “heaven on earth” life wherein greed, harm, wars and murder are things of the past.

Even with Star Trek most of the ugliness that is in mankind’s nature is a thing of the past and there is no such thing as “money” everybody has what they need, and any “real” threat to their utopia can only be found amongst the stars. No offense is meant to the Trekies out there, I realize the assessment is over simplified.

In each of the cases listed above we have two things going on, the fictional promise for tomorrow, and the true history of man; wherein “power” over other men has been laid at the feet of a few. This has been proven true with nearly every manifestation of government… humankind is selfish and murderous.

The only examples of non-murderous states that can be found are those in which, the state has what it needs, and no other country wants what they have, at least enough to try and take it. And I suggest to you that this condition, is indeed “conditional” and, at best temporary. Meaning that at some point in their history they were violent, and being human, they will likely turn violent when circumstances warrant it.

As examples, two of the countries in the top five for gun ownership are Switzerland and Finland   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_guns_per_capita_by_country , numbering fourth and fifth respectively. And they are two of the most “peaceful” countries on the planet. So why would anyone think for a moment that there would be at least 45 guns for every 100 people in these two countries. I suggest to you that they recognize mankind’s potential for violence, and are prepared for it.

The warmest & fluffiest of progressives in this country of ours is ignoring man’s history to promote the warm and fluffy “change”. Apparently, they are willing to oppress their fellow citizenry by imposing the Politically Correct Police upon them to exact said change. Is this “change” they are lock stepping toward, anything like they “Imagine” it to be?

No… but then, that did not stop the Bolsheviks, or Chairman Mao, or Robespierre of the French Revolution, he too lost his head at the guillotine. It did not stop America’s murderous campaign against the indigenous Natives, or the black races purchased on the Ivory Coast from rival tribe members that stole their neighbors to sell to white slavers. And it will not stop Islam and its Sharia Law, which has declared that its manifest destiny (according to the Koran) is to “own the world”.

Imagination is strong, prompting all manner of ventures. Typically with Mankind’s march to flesh out his imaginings of his own utopia, he is willing to murder to accomplish what he imagines. When this is his course of action, he is willing to use whatever tools may be available to enlist those otherwise directionless, two legged assets to do their bidding.

And typically these tools are best described as vehicles that fulfill mankind’s desire to be free from the oppressions of his fellow man. Sometimes its religion, other times its man’s desire to be free of religion. Sometimes its politics - a new political machine of promised sleek lines and fast returns, or, freedom from man’s last failed attempt to deliver the vehicle of the “promised” utopia. With Islam it is both political and highly “religious”.

There was a television commercial for perfume, when I was a kid that has stuck in my memory that said, “Promise her anything… but give her Arpege!”  Mankind’s slogan, seems to be, “Promise them change… but give them oppression!”

The Progressives of this country, have got to ignore our own historical truth, in order to proceed with their New World Order Imaginings and their Politically Correct enforcement. Beware of the “promises” of your fellow man, for his behavior runs terribly “in the red”.
